This manual fan switch kit is for a Mustang (GT or Cobra), T-Bird, or any 3.8L, 4.6L, 5.0L, Ford car or truck 1983-2004.
Everyone knows that a cooler engine is a better performing engine. If you are at the race track or drag strip, pushing into the limits of your performance engine, suddenly you see the water temp gauge needle start to raise dangerously, should you stop?? Not with this performance fan switch. You can turn your cooling fan on with a flip of a switch.
When you install a lower temp thermostat, this is a must kit to have to keep the engine temp low. Your engine temp will stay at the same temp as your thermostat when you turn the switch on.
This kit includes a switch, wire (no wires to cut), and 10 minute easy install instructions and as always help via email if needed. The switch itself is 1/2" long and 1/4" wide, so you can mount it anywhere you like. Optional: If desired, you can drill a 3/16" hole to mount the fan switch.
